AUTOBIOGRAPHY by Kittling - "Wisconsin's's Cutest Cat" Hi, my
name is
Kittling. I'm 15 ½ years old. I was rescued by
my owner
from
the bitter cold one day, in the parking lot of a dance hall where he
was
playing in February of 1993. I was only a few weeks old when he
found
me sniffling and sneezing, huddling up inside the fender of his
friend's
truck. He drove around trying to locate my home, but no one would
claim me. He then took the me to a friend's house where she took
care of me while he prepared his house to become my new home.
After a few days of his friend's care, my owner took me in and became my daddy. After countless visits to the vet and months of coughing and sneezing, I regained my health. Today I'm living the good life! My daddy's brother even custom built a 6' tall, fully carpeted house for me that's mounted to a pedestal with a spiral staircase. Some of my favorite things to do include drinking tap water right from the faucet, hiding behind my very own miniature Christmas tree, and sleeping on the toasty-warm cable box. My favorite game is chasing the little red dot from a laser pen. One of these days, I'll catch that stupid red dot! My daddy installed my very own bird feeder right outside the window above his bookcase. Every day I sit on the bookcase and watch all the birds visiting the feeder. Sometimes a bird will hop onto the window ledge. I'll try to pounce on it, but I always hit my head on the screen. On a good day, I can watch over a hundred birds. Sometimes I get so tired watching birds that I have to take a long nap in the afternoon. Napping is my favorite hobby. When the temperature is nice outside, my daddy puts me on a leash and takes me for short walks around the yard. He's very protective of me. If it's hot out, he stands over me to keep me shaded. If it's cool out, he leads me into the sunshine. He lets me eat grass even though he knows he'll have to clean it up off the carpeting twenty minutes later. If a bee flies too close to me, he picks me up and carries me to safety. Website created by Tom Brusky (www.tombrusky.com) Copyright 2005-2008. All rights reserved. |
